Coroner

The Coroner is elected by the voters for four-year terms. The coroner investigates the cause and manner of death when a person dies under various situations including but not limited to: 1) as a result of violence, suicide, or accident, 2) suddenly when in apparent good health, 3) when unattended by a physician, 4) in any suspicious manner, or 5) as a result of an apparent drug overdose.
