Inspection Office issues building permits, manufactured housing
permits, commercial business licenses, home occupation business
license
Planning & Zoning handles matters related to the zoning
of property, what is permitted in each zone, the acreage
required in order to build in each zone, zoning violations,
and other issues pertaining to zoning. This office also assists
the Planning Commission and the Board of Zoning Adjustments.
The Planning Commission hears applications for the rezoning
of property and makes a recommendation to the Board of Commissioners
regarding same, and also reviews preliminary and final plats
for approval or disapproval in connection with the subdivision
of property. |
